OVERVIEW

Ignyte is seeking someone who can make our product come right off its data sheet. This position bridges the gap between our product strategy, engineering and the sales/marketing in order to make it come alive for our clients. Your job will be to work with the cross-functional remotely distributed Ignyte team members to ensure that the product is brought to markets successfully and resonates with our audience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create design guides, datasheets, troubleshooting guides, evaluation guides, application notes, technical white papers, presentations, videos, and demonstrations for our security solutions/products
  • Market know-how: get to know our buyers
  • Understand the competitive landscape that our company is in
  • Support product launch and activities that may follow, e.g., conferences, presentations, etc., (some travel required to support marketing activity)
  • Build and maintain a demonstration environment for our security solutions and products
  • Support product launch activities and assist with Trade shows, Conferences, and Technical Sales Training or Channel Partner Training activities
  • Respond to customer or field inquiries, assist with Technical RFPs, and work with a cross-functional team

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s in marketing, business, or related field preferred and/or equivalent years of experience within related field preferred
  • Some prior experience is a must
  • Proficiency in productivity applications, i.e., Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with communications platforms — Confluence, Google Hangouts, etc.
  • Knowledge with cybersecurity products and the cybersecurity field
  • Organized and detail-oriented is a plus
  • Strong public speaker and ability to hold oneself up in front of a crowd is a plus
  • Ability to perform technical writing
  • Excellent people skills including comfort working with a team

UX/UI Internship

OVERVIEW

Ignyte is seeking a talented, creative, and highly motivated designer to handle UX and UI functions. The intern will work with the Product Manager and the Senior Development team to create screens, flows and eventually working directly with application development team members. Design user experiences for web, mobile, portals & collaboration, and social computing solutions. Work in a fast-paced, creative atmosphere and develop new ideas adapting to evolving user needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will be designing our applications
  • Making/designing data sheets
  • Conceptualizing, wireframing, and executing new and existing features for our core products
  • Assisting with the creation of designs for mobile, desktop, and other platforms
  • Ability to negotiate and articulate the “why” of design decisions
  • You’ll need to convince, to disagree confidently, and take and give straightforward criticism
  • Listen to users, identify their needs, and respond to how they act

Security, Risk, & Compliance Engineer

Ignyte is seeking a talented, creative, and highly motivated security engineer to work with our clients. This position involves onsite consulting with IT peers, leaders, and other departments to manage and own the ongoing operation and lifecycle of security management tools and technologies. The security architect will support customer-specific compliance artifacts and regulatory requirements. The architect will develop a holistic approach to implementing security controls and maintain in-depth knowledge of IT security controls.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for operating the lifecycle of all security tools including, but not limited to, vulnerability management, DLP, encryption of data at rest, two-factor authentication, and application vulnerability tools
  • Operate and manage security tools, such as vulnerability management, DLP, Data-at-rest encryption, 2-factor authentication, and application security tools
  • Monitor SIEM & File Integrity systems — deployment and implementation of monitoring to identified systems
  • Collection & Analysis of DLP Systems
  • Plan & Implement App Vulnerability Scanning
  • Assist with disaster recovery planning, internal/external security audits, and vulnerability and security risk assessments
  • Document organization security standards, procedures, and security guidelines.

Cybersecurity Internship

OVERVIEW

Ignyte Assurance is seeking talented, creative, and highly motivated undergraduate student intern to work with our remote Cyber Security Team members. Qualified candidates must have a strong desire to work within the cyber security industry as a career. A basic understanding of regular expressions and a high level programming language is required. The ideal candidate will also have working knowledge of C programming for work assignments in a trusted computing domain. The candidate will have the flexibility and time to work during his/her own hours.

As an intern, you will contribute to projects working in agile, collaborative teams of 2-3 technical staff working on technology for domains, such as intrusion detection and prevention, continuous monitoring, pattern matching & detection, and cyber security testing. You will also be taught language specific syntax, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Advance Intelligence engine, event correlation, searching, reporting, alarming, and advanced rule writing for pattern matching of cyber security threats to traditional & cloud infrastructures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The candidate will work on a variety of tasks ranging from real-time cyber threat analysis & monitoring, developing patch scripts, Amazon Web Services (AWS) machine management and deployment, Google Apps management, and in development of various middleware platforms written in .NET or C programming
  • Participate in meetings in person, over phone, or video teleconferencing

The Technical Marketing Team Member is a technologist who works as a part of the product marketing team. They will work with a cross-functional team to ensure that the products being brought to market are successful in a wide variety of customer engagements. The candidate will be articulating the technical differentiators of a product and also work with the product management teams to continually improve the products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand, develop, and manage technical marketing material for all channels and direct marketing efforts
  • Align engineering and sales to create awareness and educational material
  • Leverage technology to manage marketing campaigns
  • Research key trends and develop a strategy to educate the market
  • Build superior delivery of technical product services
  • Interact with sales executives to align engineering efforts
  • Develop responses to RFPs
